Welcome to the Center for Yoga
The "Center for Yoga" המרכז ליוגה is one of Israel's leading yoga schools, established by Gabi Doron, and has been a vital center for teaching yoga in the Iyengar tradition for over 13 years. All the teachers at the Center for Yoga have been certified to teach in the tradition of BKS Iyengar after undergoing professional training.
What is Iyengar Yoga?
Iyengar Yoga is a systematic and scientific method for the develop of body and mind through yoga and pranayama. Emphasis is placed on correct body alignment in the various yoga asanas, and the use of props where necessary to achieve this.
Activities at the Center for Yoga
We have a weekly schedule of classes, from introductory to advanced. We also run dedicated course for teachers in the Iyengar tradition, and host a variety of yoga-related events and seminars. Contact the center for specific information.
